Growing Pains

Thanks to Roman May

As my business grew over the last year, I realized I was quickly outgrowing my small office space and basic phone and internet. Luckily, a neighbor introduced me to smallbusiness.xo.com. With them, I have been able to keep up with the growing demand I have faced and still have the capacity for more growth! My goal is to always exceed my customer’s expectations in every way. This is not always an easy task! In addition to my communications upgrades, I have added staff to meet our growing demand as well as office space. When the area next to the space I was already leasing became available, I went ahead and leased it as well even though it was more than I needed. I figured the small extra expense of having more space than I needed was well offset by the savings of not having to move or get all new stuff printed with a new address! So far things are working out well and we are continuing to grow. Looks like I will be using that extra space sooner than I thought!

"Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" Posts Biggest Opening of the Year

No surprise that an animated film has taken the biggest box office jackpot of the year so far. No matter how good a movie is, people are always looking for a good family movie to go see together that they can all enjoy. Nothing like watching the kids enjoy themselves and making yourself feel like a kid again for a couple hours that's for sure. Instead of worrying about your adult worries like wondering " is 7 day slimming pill safe?" it is nice to let go and feel like a kid again, even for a short time.

The animated 3-D environmental tale greatly exceeded industry expectations, raking in $70.7 million, according to an estimate from distributor Universal Pictures. Meanwhile, the weekend's other new release, a polar opposite for families, the R-rated party flick "Project X," collected a healthy $20.8 million.
As a result of the robust ticket sales, receipts were up 26 percent as compared with the same weekend last year. Overall, it has been a strong year at the box office so far: Sales have jumped 19 percent compared to last year, and attendance has spiked 21 percent.

Lindsay Lohan Has High Rated SNL Appearance

Everyone loves to watch a car crash right? I mean they can't look away...nobody actually loves it. Lohan has basically been this for the past few years, and yet she seems to get away with everything she does. Maybe the poster child for the "First world problems" sort of person right here she appeared on Saturday Night Live last night and got some of thee highest ratings of anyone this year.

While not locked inside hr residential metal buildings under house arrest, doing community service, breaking probation, getting preferential treatment from judges, she still is making money it appears, and people want to see her. Either succeed or fail I guess. I prefer to see her go away, but I suppose Hollywood thinks we all love her.

This season's rankings with Lohan at #2 behind Barkley who got an NFL playoff lead in:

1. Charles Barkley, 7.4 rating
2. Lindsay Lohan, 5.5 rating
3. Jimmy Fallon, 5.3 rating
4. Melissa McCarthy, 5.2 rating (tie)
4. Daniel Radcliffe, 5.2 rating (tie)
