Pamela Anderson PETA Poster Shot Down By Montreal

An odd story to be sure, but that poster was deemed "sexist" by Montreal officials. I suppose you could say that it depicts a woman as a "piece of meat", but it seems unoffensive in every way in the context that it is presented.

I must say she looks pretty good there. She must have visited www.quickweightloss.org, or they have a great air brush. She has looked sketchy the last couple years in undoctored photos I have seen. She is the Queen of plastic surgery though so that may have helped ;).

"We, as public officials representing a municipal government, cannot endorse this image of Ms. Anderson," Josee Rochefort, an official in charge of issuing permits in Montreal's TV and film office, said in an email to PETA.

"It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women," the email continued.

"In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens," Anderson told Us Weekly. "I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical."

A PETA official said the Canadians were confusing "sexy" with "sexist."

Every boy had a dream when they watched Baywatch. To have sex with Pam Anderson. Then they got to watch as Pam had sex with other men for our viewing pleasure in a number of home pornos. Well...I think anyone who remembers this relationship has to wonder what the hell is wrong with Pam. When they first broke up there was tons of talk that he physically abused her. She even went as far to appear on shows like Oprah and talk about how bad it was. Saying that she was getting out and many applauded her for it.

Doesn't mean anyone says a word about it in the tabloids right now though. Seems most are just covering it as though it is a good thing. I suppose I'll draw up the blinds on it instead of being happy for them. I have little respect for anyone who claims they have been abused phsyically by their partner enough that they had to get away and then turns around and keeps going back. Best of luck to you, Pam.

Pamela Anderson's "crack" marriage

Tommy Lee thought Pamela Anderson was high when she said she was getting married again.

Pamela has joked her ex-husband didn't believe her when she told him she was marrying Kid Rock last year.

Pamela, who divorced Tommy in 1998, said: "What did Tommy say when I said I was getting married? 'Put the crack pipe down and get home immediately or I'll come get you.' I'm joking."

Pamela - who is currently divorcing second husband Kid - is on the lookout for a new "explosive" relationship and admits she is "impossible" to live with.

She said in an interview with Britain's OK! magazine: "I want an explosive love affair again. I'm used to being alone with my sons so it's hard for me when someone comes in and changes that dynamic. I get controlling and probably impossible. I don't want someone to come in and rescue my family - we're fine." Source
