Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy Leaker Sentenced

Kevin Cogill, the Los Angeles man who was busted last August for posting online nine unreleased tunes from the Gunners' heavily anticipated, yet eternally delayed new album was sentenced Tuesday to 60 days of home confinement.

While the sentence isn't extreme, it does set a bit of a precedent. Leaking music will get you in trouble.

In addition to the house arrest, Cogill will get 1 year probation as well as be forced to star in an anti-piracy public safety announcement.

Looks likle he will need plenty of fat burner while he is cooped up in his home for 2 months. Don't get too fat kid.

Oh yeah...Guns N' Roses are a bunch of jerks when it comes to this stuff. Everyone knows Axel Rose is a total douche, but it appears they are trying to get into Metallica anti-sharing territory.

Michael Jackson's Death Being Viewed as a Homicide

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was maybe the most publicized death of this century. Now the investigation of Jackson's death has turned to an even darker side. The LAPD believes the pop star's death was due to misuse of a powerful anaesthesia and his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, the one there trying to jumpstart his heart with an AED, may have been involved.

Los Angeles County's chief coroner investigator Craig Harvey said, "We are serving a coroner subpoena at the office of Dr. Klein to obtain medical records. That is all I can comment on."

"Dr. Klein has been and continues to cooperate with the coroner's office into the investigation if the death of Michael Jackson. There will be no further comments in Dr. Klein at this time. Also the coroner has indicated to us that Dr. Klein is not under investigation by the coroner's office," said Klein's lawyer Bradley Boyer.

Harvey added the move was not unusual, revealing several other subpoenas have been issued in relation to Michael's death, reports Yahoo News.

Bruno Beats Borat at Opening Box Office

Sacha Baron Cohen has gone from Da Ali G Show to the movie screen with Borat and now Bruno. While some found the Borat movie to funny, I found it quite ridiculous and not funny at all. It didn't offend me, I just thought it was overblown crap on the level of Napoleon Dynamite.

So with Bruno being released I have the exact same felling. Of course that doesn't mean people won't hype it up either. People will still go because he tries to be so offensive that people HAVE to watch it. If this movie is good I'll be shocked.

So what are the numbers?

BrĂ¼no, which follows the title character, a gay Austrian fashionista, as he comes to the USA seeking fame, earned $30.4 million, according to weekend studio estimates from Nielsen EDI. Borat, which opened in 2006 with $26.5 million, went on to make $129 million.
