Octomom, Nadya Suleman Signs Reality-TV Deal For Kids

Nadya Suleman, better known as Octomom because of her giving birth to octuplets, has reportedly singed a deal that will give each of her 14 kids $250 a day to appear on a Rreality show. Yeah that's right, she has 6 more kids besides the octuplets. All of which are under the age of 8.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge's approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists "Breaking Bonaduce" and "The Biggest Loser" among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman's kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate. Guess they don't have to worry about Outer Banks foreclosures in the future. That is if they actually end up with the money. Something I don't forsee, but what do I know?

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a "Coogan Trust Account," as required by California law. The monies can't be touched until the children turn 18 or become legally emancipated.

Potter Srops to #2, But Still on pace for 2nd Biggest in Franchise

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince only lasted one week at the top of the box office charts, but appears to still be on pace to be the second highest grossing screen adaption in the franchise.

The Half-Blood Prince seems to be the favorite of many Potter fans that I have talked to. I still like The Deathly Hallows the best. I love the journey of the 3 in the last book. Half-Blood is probably my 2nd, or 3rd favorite. It is a pretty interesting book as well with the whole look at the history of "You Know Who". It is also the one with the biggest internet spoilers ever. So much so that it actually became a meme at one point.

The movie that took over at the top spot this week is an animated tale of 3 guinea pigs that I wouldn't know from a motorcycle jack. "G-Force," a Disney live action and computer-generated animation family feature, earned $32.1 million in the United States and Canada, pushing "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" down to second place with $30 million in its second weekend.

The sixth movie in the boy wizard franchise dropped 61 percent from its huge opening last weekend -- a fall-off that was in line with studio expectations -- but is still on course for becoming the second biggest Potter movie so far, distributors Warner Bros said.

Internationally, "Half-Blood Prince" raked in $84.4 million in 64 countries over the weekend to take its worldwide total so far to $627.1 million.
