Inglourious Basterds Beats Tarantino's Previous Best Opening

"Inglourious Basterds" openind this weekend at the top of the box office charts obviously. Brad Pitt, and Quentin Tarantino together will win that spot even if the movie is horrible. People actually like it though so it is of no surprise it took the top spot earning roughhly $37.6 Million on opening weekend. It pushed District 9 down to number 2 after its debut at #1 last week, and GI Joe remained at #3.

Instead of going to see this I decided to go sell motorhome I have cluttering up my yard, but I will see it.

Inglourious gave Tarantino his biggest weekend box office oepening since Kill Bill Vol. 2, which opened in April 2004 at $25 Million. Inglourious gave Tarantino a 50% bigger rake than that and looks to be staying strong.
