Official 13 minute Dark Knight Rises Preview On Youtube

With the excitement for the upcoming Dark Knight Rises opening in theaters worldwide on July 20th a brand new 13 minute behind the scenes preview has been posted on youtube. It is in FULL HD. Dark Knight was actually ranked as the top movie of all-time on IMDb by voters when it first came out. This movie had a ton of press besides being very good. With the death of Heath Ledger around the time of release, and the movie actually being awesome it got a a lot more support than it might have otherwise. It would still be ranked pretty high, but not nearly as high without all the factors coming together. Anyways, the videeo is 13 minutes with some clips and behind the scenes stuff into the upcomign movie that opens worldwide on July 20th. A screening for the press scheduled for July 6th in IMAX actually had complications and had to be stopped at 1 hour into it due to problems with audio sync. The projectionist was probably busy back in his Famous Smoke Shop and forgot to do something.

Seth Myers to Replace Regis on Live?

Pretty random group of candidates it appears in line to replace REgis Philbin on the morning show he co-hosts with Kelly Rippa. One of the final 3 seems to be Seth Meyers from Saturday Night Live. A mainstay on the weekly show and been there for years. Since he has almost no movie career of note he may need to get into a talk show circuit of some sort. According to Showbiz411 he's one of 3. The other 2 include ex-NFL player Michael Strahan who had the disaster sitcom 'Brothers' a couple years back. Also, singer Josh Grobin is being considered for the seat. For a show I never swatch it matters little I suppose, but a strange combo of finalists I must admit. Maybe the producers spent too much time with their beer brewing kits and wanted to make a joke of the show.

The Amazing Spiderman unsurprisingly leads box office for first week

One thing you can count on from American movie-goers is that they will flock to the theaters for super hero blockbusters. Batman and Spiderman have surely been raking in the cash over the last decade, and the reboot of Spiderman entitled 'The Amazing Spiderman' is no different. Not as big an opening as some of its past installments, Spiderman still tops the box office for the week pulling in $144 million for the 6 day opening with a $65 million opening weekend. A bit lower than its previous installments that didn't have the 3D and IMAX pricing to put a bit more tensioners on the pockets of consumers. The Amazing Spider-Man started off softer than any of the previous Spidey installments; after six days, 2002′s Spider-Man had earned $144.1 million, 2004′s Spider-Man 2 had earned $180.1 million, and 2007′s Spider-Man 3 had earned $176.2 million — and none of those had 3-D or IMAX ticket prices. But its robust debut put to rest any chatter that Sony had made a grave mistake by rebooting the franchise with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Clearly, the Marvel character is a major draw.
