'24' Star Sutherland Busted for DUI

Another celebrity who is probably on their way to drug rehab. Such a great example the entertainment community sets for our youth.

Kiefer Sutherland, who stars on the hit TV thriller "24" as a secret agent with nerves of steel, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving on Tuesday, hours before he was due to be honored by a Canadian actors' union.

The arrest comes three years after the Canadian performer, 40, the son of actor Donald Sutherland, pleaded no contest to a charge of driving under the influence and was ordered into a treatment program for alcohol abuse. more...

Birkhead sued for defamation by ex-lawyer

Larry Birkhead’s ex-lawyer has filed a lawsuit claiming Birkhead attempted to damage her reputation by making defamatory remarks.

Awesome. Sue, sue, and more sue. Not a better business opportunity in America these days I reckon.

Debra Opri’s lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, accuses Birkhead of falsely claiming in a CNN interview with Larry King that she was a source for the book “Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death.” more

Silverman calls Spears VMA joke ‘innocuous’

What the hell is "innocuous"? Really I doubt she even knows. After many nights pulled up in a bar stools I'm sure she has quite a few less brain cells than the average person.

Sarah Silverman still is responding to the negative reaction to her Britney Spears jokes at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“The joke that everyone was upset about — me calling the kids ‘adorable mistakes’ — was the most innocuous joke,” the 36-year-old comedian tells Us Weekly magazine in the issue that comes out Friday. “It never occurred to me that would be deemed hurtful or over the line.” more
