Today Show beats Katie Couric as Expected

Not really as expected on Monday though. The Today Show having Sarah Palin on this week was surely going to beat Couric on Good Morning America. She was not on Monday though, so this has to be a bit of a letdown for GMA that even with Couric they got beat out.

Monday’s “Today” averaged 4.9 million viewers. “GMA,” featuring the highly hyped return of former “Today” sweetheart Couric, attracted just under half a million fewer viewers. The two shows’ season-to-date gap is 528,000 viewers.

On her second day of “Good Morning America” co-anchoring, Katie faced even stiffer competition — “Today” had lined up Sarah Palin to co-anchor, for the 8 a.m. hour, anyway. I think she visited an amish gazebo or something and told them that she shot grizzly bears.

Ashton Kutcher to Play Steve Jobs

OK...seems like a completely different sort that you would want to play Steve Jobs, but Kutcher has gotten the role. Apparently he looks a lot like him. I suppose a little, although I don't really see it. Put him on a custom challenge coin.

The film will follow Jobs on his journey from "wayward hippie" to cofounder of Apple and one of the most respected and powerful entrepreneurs in the business and technological world. Jobs passed away last October.

The film will be based on the best-selling, authorized bio of Jobs by Walter Isaacson.

Sucks to Be Katie Couric as a Guest Host I Guess

She is going to be guest hosting on Good Morning America this week, but not to be outdone NBC is giving her competition she can unlikely beat. Sarah Palin will be hosting the Today Show during the same time apparently. IT's been too long I guess since Palin has been on TV so I guess this is where she lands.

Like her , or not, Palin will likely win this ratings war. There are enough people that just want to see how dumb she can be I'm sure that will get rating s alone. MAybe they will send her out on the street, or to play with some Electric Airsoft Guns with the people.
