Mariah Carey is now the #2 position for most #1 singles of all-time surpassing the King himself in Elvis. She only trails the other made for radio pop sensation the Beatles. Carey has 18 #1 singles and is closing in on the Beatles with 20.
I guess this just shows you that cheaply made songs, with about 2 notes repeated over and over are what people like. Some of the Beatles worst songs are their #1s. Carey having more than a handful of #1s is not only amazing, but ridiculous. I am ashamed of you all. Of course I have to give her and her crew credit for recognizing that people like crap and mass producing it. Have a massage chair for your efforts. Well done.
