Britney Runs over 'Paparazzo's' Foot

Hours after losing visitation rights with her two young sons, the struggling pop star apparently ran over the foot of a photographer for celebrity Web site TMZ.com. Spears was driving away from a Beverly Hills medical building, her car surrounded by photographers, when the incident occurred about 5 p.m. Thursday. Sounds like that reporter should be on a diet patch so they can move faster.

"Things happen at certain times and she was just a little impatient," said the man, whose name wasn't released. "She got a little impatient for whatever reason. I say let bygones be bygones."

Gotta respect the guy for not making a big deal out of it in this sue happy world we live in I guess. At least for now...

Britney Spears Turns Herself In

Not to a
commercial collection agency, which she will probably be looking at in the future the way she is going, but to the police. On Monday night, Spears reported to a Los Angeles police station to face charges of hit and run and driving without a valid license, police said.

Officer Mike Lopez said Spears turned herself in around 9 p.m. and left about 45 minutes later. Spears was fingerprinted and photographed, he said.

"She was fine, cooperative," Lopez said. "She did her business and came out."

"They were nice," she said of police. She told the station she was wearing the sunglasses because she had pinkeye.

The charges stem from an Aug. 6 wreck during which paparazzi filmed Spears steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. The video showed her walking away after assessing the damage to her own car.

Who is your favorite band?

I'm pretty much a rocker type music listener, and more precisely I like classic rock and alternative, but I have a lot of musical interests. It is tough for me to pick one band that I like the most, but I would have to say it is The Doors currently.

The other reason I bring this up is because I am thinking of picking up some Van Halen tickets soon because a friend of mine is a huge fan and they put on one hell of a show. Definitely one of the better groups that has ever been formed. I tend to like the David Lee Roth Van Halen, but my buddy is more of a fan of the Sammy Hagar era.

Silver Bells

Is it almost time for Christmas shopping to begin? Well for many it probably is, but why would I talk about silver at this time of year? The demand for silver has been exceeding production every for for the past seventeen years and it continues to do so. The increased demand makes the investment in silver one that should be a good one. Basic supply and demand economics states that when people want more of something than there is of it, the value will rise. Silver is in this situation right now.

Through Monex Deposit Company you can purchase silver or other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository. For over 30 years, the Monex companies have been America’s silver and precious metals investment leader.

Jay Leno regretting retirement announcement?

Recently it was said that Leno was going retire and that NBS is going to hand over the reigns to his late night show to Conan O'Brien. Leno I guess is upset that Conan will be given the show. I'd rather watch a show selling diamond rings than to watch Leno, but apparently he is the most popular late night show there is. A recent poll on AOL says that both Leno and Letterman are more popular than Conan. I find this utterly ridiculous. There is no way that anyone in the 18-40 market would rather watch these 2 has beens over Conan. This is what NBC was betting on when they decided to try and keep Conan here when Leno retires in 2009. Leno agreed to Conan replacing him so that NBC could keep him at the network.
