Randy and Evi Quaid: Sleep, Dine, and Dash

Actor Randy Quaid, and his wife Evi have been accused of staying at lavish hotels, running up bills, and then not paying. Not just once, but according to some reports several times. Of course they claim to have paid these bills.

TMZ.com has a detective that says: Quaids Had Scam Down to a Science.

The Quaids have been staying in every kind of hotel like any celebrity would, and it appears they may have been ditching their bills at a few lavish ones, and probalby every Las Vegas hotel they ahve stayed at.

But they claim they have not done this obviously.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Detective Rod Forney wrote in a declaration in support of the arrest warrant ... Randy and Evi Quaid checked into the San Ysidro Ranch with a bogus credit card, bogus phone numbers and addresses and gave excuse after excuse as they racked up a bill totaling $10,546.96.

The Quaids -- who were arrested in Texas yesterday for the alleged crimes of burglary, conspiracy and conspiracy to defraud an innkeeper -- sent a check for $5,546.96 ... so they still owe 5 grand.

But according to Detective Forney, San Ysidro was small potatoes compared to the swanky Hotel Bel-Air in Bev Hills, where they allegedly stiffed the hotel to the tune of $17,000.

And, just before checking into San Ysidro, the couple allegedly stiffed the Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel.

Michael JAckson Lost Will to Live

Appearing on the Today Show from NBC, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach unveiled lengthy conversations he taped with Jackson during their 1999-2001 friendship, and said the "Thriller" singer suffered deep emotional pain.

"He lost the will to live," Boteach said. "I think he was just going through the motions of life toward the end."

Boteach said that Jackson was afraid to appear in public after so many plastic surgeries because he felt that he looked like a "lizard" that no acne treatments, or more surgery were going to fix. You can certainly see the resemblance to the Harry Potter villian Lord Voldemort I guess who was a "snake" man. Jackson in the past appeared to be a huge fan of Harry Potter with that one old photo that came out from a therapist where he had to draw something about this life.

Back in March, when Jackson visited London to announce the "This Is It" shows, he appeared in a military-style jacket and punched the air.

But the tapes collected by Boteach show Jackson to be a far less confidant man, who feared growing old and had suffered levels of loneliness and pain that the rabbi said "staggers the imagination." story

"I would like some way to disappear, where people don't see me anymore at some point," Jackson said in the tapes.

"I don't want to grow old. I never want to look in the mirror and see that," the singer said.

Boteach has turned his conversations with the pop star into a book, published on Friday, called "The Michael Jackson Tapes."
