I don't think we'll be hearing any Britney birth announcements anytime soon. I wonder if they would just take the kid right out of the delivery room and put them into foster care.
L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon partially accepted her lawyer's plea to give Spears monitored overnight visitation. Spears, who was in court, was sworn in as the afternoon hearing began. She testified, but we don't know what she said.
Spears left the courtroom visibly upset. The overnight visits will be monitored. The parties have not reached an agreement on choosing a different monitor than the one who is already in place. more

Madonna Nears New $120 Million Deal
Looks like Madonna will have plenty of money for the kid's animal print bedding now. I know she was really struggling to make ends meet. So glad she was able to get herself at least some money to feed her family.
Pop star Madonna is close to leaving her long-time Warner Bros. Records label for a wide-ranging $120 million deal with concert promotion firm Live Nation Inc., a source familiar with the talks said Wednesday.
The story was first reported on the Wall Street Journal's Web site, which said Madonna would receive a mix of cash and stock in exchange for allowing Live Nation to distribute three studio albums, promote concert tours, sell merchandise and license her name. full story

Imus is back
After getting canned for calling the Rutgers female basketball team "nappy-headed hos", Imus has been with out work for some time. No more. His mailboxes have been full of offers apparently and he is ready to get back on the airwaves on December 1st.
WABC has hired Imus for the morning spot, currently occupied by Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby.Imus, recently settled a wrongful-termination lawsuit with his former employers for a reported $20 million.
When asked about Imus' new show, Rutgers women's coach Vivian Stringer said, "He has every right to go back on the air."

'Ebony and Ivory' Named Worst Duet Ever
Yeah...this song is kind of silly. Pretty surprising that it was named the worst duet ever though. This song wasn't exactly unpopular and there ahve been some really bad duets in the past. Someone probably was out there singing about kitchen faucets, or even some sort of Island in the Sea. That song is probably in the same mold as this one was and that isn't mentioned as bad, but one of the best!
In a BBC rankings deal these were the other worst duets:
Runner-Up: 'You're the One That I Want'
Arthur Mullard and Hilda Baker
Other Hideous Duets:
3. 'Dancing in the Street' -- Mick Jagger and David Bowie
4. 'Little Drummer Boy' -- Bing Crosby and David Bowie
5. 'Save Your Love' -- Rene and Renata
6. 'The Girl Is Mine' -- Paul McCartney a Michael Jackson
Some of the Best were:
1. 'Foggy Dew'--Sinead O'Connor and The Chieftains
2.'Fairytale of New York'--Kirsty MacColl and The Pogues
3. 'Under Pressure' -- Queen and David Bowie
4. 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' -- Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue
5. 'Walk This Way' -- Run DMC and Aerosmith
6. 'Islands in the Stream' -- Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton
