Daughters make tape of drunk Hasselhoff

‘Part of recovery is relapse,’ says the ‘Baywatch’ star

A videotape made by David Hasselhoff’s daughters shows the recovering alcoholic falling off the wagon, Hasselhoff acknowledged Thursday, but the actor added that he is doing much better since it was made.

The video, which aired Thursday on TV tabloid shows, depicts an apparently inebriated Hasselhoff, clad only in blue jeans, lying on the floor of a room and clumsily eating a hamburger next to some
discount furniture while one of his daughters reproves him about his drinking.

Rosie post "View" job

Rosie O’Donnell may quickly be putting “The View” in her rearview mirror. Asked Monday about her future plans in television, she said, “You’ll hear very soon.”

O’Donnell only winked and walked away when pressed for details by reporters outside the Eugene O’Neill Theater in Manhattan, where she was a host for an online panel about teen issues with the cast of the N’s “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and cast members of the Broadway musical “Spring Awakening.”

“I’ll give an autograph, not a comment,” she said as she scribbled her name for some fans. “An autograph is easier.” read more

Can someone tell me who thinks Rosie is actually worth paying attention to? I guess if she was promoting some sort of Free Diet and made herself not look so grotesque it may be news. Until then I don't think she has much value to anyone.

Feds dismiss charges in Oprah extortion case

Federal officials have dismissed charges against an Atlanta man who was accused of trying to extort $1.5 million from Oprah Winfrey.

In exchange, Keifer Bonvillain, 36, must successfully complete a yearlong program in which he has to perform 50 hours of community service, undergo drug testing, attend school or work regularly and pay $3,000 in restitution to the FBI for the cost of its investigation, U.S. attorney’s office spokesman Randall Samborn said Tuesday. read more

That's some great risk/reward for what he eventually got I'd say. Not much of a penalty for what he was trying to do. 50 hours of community service? You have gotta be kidding. Don't think that will really convince him not to try it again.

That $300 could have gone a long ways though. He could be sitting in style and comfort with some classy Powell furniture instead of paying the FBI to investigate his failed scam.

Website Directories

Most web directories will throw your blog way back on page 15840892 when you submit them. You will likely never get any traffic from such a directory and it is basically worthless to you. Big Web Links has instituted a directory that uses web bidding to list the sites in their directories. You can show up wherever you want instead of back 30 pages. Pick a category and adjust the dollar amount until you show in the desired place. It doesn't matter what your Page Rank is, when you submitted it, or any of the other web rankings that are out there. You simply pay for placement and get the exposure you desire. As an additional benefit, the top 10 listings are shown on the homepage, while the top 20 listings are shown on the top links page, which is a significant benefit for those listings.
