Dog Bounty Hunter Gets Pulled

My last post was about how he apologized for his racist comments a few days ago, but apparently A&E was not satisfied. After seeing the leaked video of his comments, they have pulled his show entirely. It looked like the show was going to be a nice marriage for the network and Dog, but I guess you can forget about sending any wedding flowers for now.

"In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take `Dog The Bounty Hunter' off the network's schedule for the foreseeable future," the network said in a statement Friday. "We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun."

Dog Bounty Hunter was one of the networks top rated shows, so they haven't actually "canceled" the show at this point.

"I guess because of whatever level of anger he had of his father, he felt the need to express it in that manner," attorney Brook Hart told The Associated Press.

Chapman has said he was "disappointed in his choice of a friend, not due to her race, but her character. However, I should have never used that term." He also said he was ashamed of himself and pledged to make amends.
